She had started it with the flirting, and she couldn't say she was disappointed with the results. Zack wanted to be with her, and she wanted him, but she was always the coy unattainable one. So instead of giving right in she goaded him. Challenged him to catch her and claim what he wanted. After that she took off running wondering if he'd actually take up chase.

Life can really send you for a loop if unprepared.

She wasn't sure how many times they had sex, or how long they were there. All Max knew was she woke up naked, next to an equally naked Alec. Oddly she didn't just up and run and pretend it didn't happen, she did however get dressed. She had a feeling that maybe, just maybe Alec was going to hate her for this. She didn't make it easy on him, going to leave then taking the boy down, then going to leave until she finally did run. Though by then neither of their minds were thinking past feline instincts.

She sat and watched him, she had to admit to herself he wasn't bad looking. She blinked at those thoughts and shook her head. She couldn't blame heat for that one.

Max had made her way back into Seattle, it felt weird to be back here. With everything that happened, with Logan here and her unable to touch him. SHe had to get away and think, though it hadn't helped much but she did have her obligations to Terminal City and she wasn't one to scorn them. She had taken a few days to herself though to get re-situated in Seattle. She tried avoiding going near Logan's, but she really had no distractions. She knew heat cycles were coming and some needed a safe place to hide away, including herself possibly. She wasn't sure if she should bother fighting it anymore or not.

She was effectively forcing herself to move on from Logan but it still hurt.
